Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00PM Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years in an Endoscopy setting Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technologist to join our specialized clinical team. In this role, you will support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain the highest standards of equipment care and infection control. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging, along with the technical expertise required to facilitate efficient, safe, and high‑quality endoscopic care. Key Responsibilities Endoscopy Suite Preparation — Set up procedure rooms with appropriate sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment while adhering strictly to aseptic technique. Procedure Assistance — Support physicians during endoscopic procedures by managing instruments, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining smooth procedural flow. Patient Monitoring — Observe and document patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures, ensuring safety and providing reassurance. Documentation Management — Record detailed procedural notes, imaging data, and relevant observations accurately and promptly. Equipment Care — Sterilize, calibrate, and inspect all endoscopic equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance. Reprocessing & Scope Management — Perform endoscopic reprocessing, manage scope inventory, and uphold infection control standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Diagnostic Support — Capture high‑quality images, assist with specimen collection, and support diagnostic evaluation as needed. Team Collaboration — Work closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care outcomes. Required Experience & Qualifications Endoscopy Experience — Minimum 2 years working in an endoscopy or similar clinical support environment. Clinical Knowledge — Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and terminology relevant to endoscopic procedures. Imaging Proficiency — Skilled in operating imaging systems used during endoscopic diagnostics and interventions. Infection Control Expertise — Knowledgeable in aseptic technique, sterilization processes, and infection prevention standards. Diagnostic Familiarity — Ability to support diagnostic workflows and understand procedural findings. Organizational Strength — Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and equipment‑management skills.
