Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endocrinologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of hormonal disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, and adrenal issues. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations focusing on endocrine system disorders, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, lifestyle counseling, and advanced procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments or hormone therapies. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and EMR platforms to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Interpret diagnostic tests including medical imaging, laboratory results, and specialized assessments such as CT scans or nuclear medicine studies related to endocrine health. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as cardiology, neurology, obstetrics (maternal-fetal medicine), psychiatry, and radiology to optimize patient care strategies. Participate in clinical research trials aimed at advancing endocrinology practices and expanding treatment options for complex cases. Provide patient education on disease management, preventive care, and health coaching to promote long-term wellness and adherence to treatment plans. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology. Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient settings managing endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes care, reproductive endocrinology, or metabolic conditions. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to endocrinology practice. Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques including ultrasound, nuclear medicine imaging, or CT scans related to endocrine organs. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to handle complex cases involving critical care experience or perioperative care when managing surgical patients requiring hormonal interventions.
