We are currently open 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, and are actively seeking qualified applicants that are available to work anytime, depending on the needs of the center and are looking to commit to an Early Childhood Program for at least one year.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS and

REQUIRED DUTIES OF ALL EMPLOYED STAFF

Able to observe, see, hear, and respond to children's needs, emergencies, and conflicts that might occur inside, outside, bathrooms, and other common areas. Able to lift 30 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table 15-20 times daily. Able to be outdoors with the children for extended periods of time. Able to reach a child 25-35 feet away within 30 seconds without danger to the staff person's health. Able to kneel, squat, stretch, twist, or reach out to a child's height, maintain eye contact at the child's level, sit on the floor, and stand tall enough to reach children on the highest piece of equipment. Able to determine cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of children and engage with a positive attitude. Able to handle the stress, tension, and frustration that contact with many children and parents may bring at times. Able to ensure the safety of the children by always observing and engaging with them. Able to provide excellent customer service. Able to communicate openly and productively with the team and families. Able to abide by State Child Day Care Licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

Preferer 12 units in ECE, Child or Human Development or Associate or Master Teacher Permit ECE teaching experience strong communication skills the ability to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and director a commitment to professional development and reflective practice AA or BA in child development or related field (preferred) A love for young children! $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (dependent on education & experience)

IMPORTANT

We are an active center looking for the following teacher. A teacher to assist in the 2/3-Year-Old classroom for a mid-day shift 9am-2pm M-F. Part time positions morning and or afternoons dependent on enrollment up to 20-25 hours a week. All of the current staff work with all of the children when we are on the shared playground or need assistance of any kind.
