Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury / Civil Litigation A fast-paced and well-established plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys with litigation and case management. This contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can jump into an active caseload and work collaboratively with a legal team.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with preparing, organizing, and maintaining litigation files Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence Manage incoming/outgoing mail and electronically file documents Coordinate records collection (medical records, billing, police reports, insurance documents) Schedule depositions, client meetings, and manage attorney calendars and deadlines Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and binders
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in personal injury, litigation support, or legal administration preferred Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and legal terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management systems Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
