Engagement Specialist

Variable- 24 hours/week

Competitive pay based on qualifications, experience, and credentials (starting at $15.21/hour)

Position Overview:

Serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to promote long-term recovery Work with individuals on how to verbalize triggers and warning signs and be willing to openly review these in acceptable settings. Assist with development of safety plan and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and tool box Provide support during crisis event by working with crisis intervention specialist to verbally coach individuals on management of stress and current problem Provide follow up care to individuals previously experiencing crisis event to ensure linkage to appropriate services and to review crisis safety plan

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Personal experience related to Behavioral Health CRSS certification and WRAP certification in 2 years from hire.
