Full-time, onsite Entegee is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support spacecraft assembly and manufacturing operations for an aerospace client in Mesa, AZ. This role is a mix of hands-on production floor support and quality engineering leadership, working closely with technicians, engineers, manufacturing teams, and leadership. This position is ideal for a senior-level quality professional with strong aerospace manufacturing experience, especially in composite and metallic structures , NCR/MRB support, RCCA, FAIs, GD&T, manufacturing work instructions, and shop-floor quality issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the manufacturing quality SME for composite and metallic part fabrication, assembly, and integration Support spacecraft assembly and system integration operations Split time between production floor support and desk-based quality engineering work Work directly with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues in real time Lead and support NCR dispositioning, MRB activity, RCCA, CAPA, and corrective actions Review and approve manufacturing work instructions, inspection plans, tooling documentation, and quality records Conduct and oversee First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 Review engineering drawings for manufacturability, tolerance stack-ups, and GD&T accuracy Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to drive production readiness and quality improvements Promote a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, precision, safety, and accountability

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 8+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience in aerospace Significant aircraft, spacecraft, or aerospace assembly experience Strong composite fabrication and metallic manufacturing process knowledge Experience with NCR dispositioning, MRB decisions, RCCA, CAPA, and CAB processes Strong knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements Ability to review manufacturing work instructions, drawings, specifications, and technical documents Expert-level GD&T knowledge, including

ASME Y14.5

Ability to support both production floor issue resolution and engineering documentation/data analysis

Preferred:

Spacecraft manufacturing or launch vehicle integration experience Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt CMM or metrology system experience Configuration management or digital manufacturing tool experience Supplier quality experience in complex aerospace supply chains Entegee is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #
