Job Description
- Aerospace for a direct hire opportunity in Pacoima, CA.
- Manage non-conforming material, MRB dispositions, customer returns, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead root cause investigations and respond to internal, customer, and supplier corrective actions.
- Serve as a quality liaison between customers, suppliers, production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Support First Article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections, including review and approval of AS9102 documentation packages.
- Participate in APQP and PPAP activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, and process flow documentation.
- Track quality metrics, non-conformance trends, scrap, Cost of Poor Quality, and corrective action performance. Compensation and Benefits

Location:
Pacoima, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage aerospace quality engineering activities related to inspection, MRB, CAPA, customer returns, and supplier quality.
- Lead corrective action investigations and drive effective root cause analysis across manufacturing processes.
- Support
APQP, PPAP, AS9102
First Article review, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.- 5+ years of aerospace Quality Engineering experience or equivalent technical education and training.
- Strong experience with Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Working knowledge of APQP and PPAP requirements.
- Strong knowledge of
ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
- Extensive understanding of metal manufacturing methods and aerospace special processes.
- Ability to generate and maintain quality documentation, CARs, SCARs, inspection records, and supplier quality records.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and work effectively with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting internal, customer, and supplier audits in an AS9100 or aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Experience analyzing quality metrics, non-conformance trends, scrap, and Cost of Poor Quality.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management and supplier corrective action processes.
- Experience in a high-mix or fast-paced aerospace production environment.
