7 Mountain View, CA Job Details Contract 3 hours ago Qualifications MATLAB Bachelor of Science SPICE Electrical system design Master of Science Design engineering Electrical Engineering Energy storage systems Full Job Description We're looking for an experienced Aircraft Electrical Engineer to help develop next-generation high-voltage battery and power distribution systems for advanced aircraft. What You'll Do Design and integrate high-voltage power distribution and battery electrical systems Develop HV architectures including busbars, harnesses, contactors, fuses and power electronics interfaces Support battery modules, BMS hardware, sensing, cell balancing and high-current interconnects Develop onboard/offboard charging solutions, including CCS, MCS and NACS Perform power, voltage drop, fault current and electrical/thermal analysis Define EMI/EMC, grounding, shielding and HV protection strategies Lead electrical verification, HiPot, insulation and high-current testing Support FMEA, supplier technical requirements and certification activities What We're Looking For BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field 8+ years of electrical design experience Strong experience with 400V+ high-voltage systems in aerospace, EV, electric propulsion or heavy transportation Battery/BMS and lithium-ion system experience Experience with SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink and ECAD tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or Zuken Knowledge of DO-160G, DO-311A, ARP4754 and ARP4761 Strong understanding of HV safety, power distribution, creepage/clearance and EMI/EMC If your background combines high-voltage electrical design, battery technology and complex safety-critical systems , we'd love to hear from you.
