Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Aircraft Structural Design Engineer for a leading aerospace and defense client. This engineer will join a high-performing AeroStructures Design team responsible for developing advanced aircraft structures for next-generation air vehicles, payload integrations, and cutting-edge aerospace technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in composite and metallic structures, CAD modeling, finite element analysis, and structural design principles to create innovative, high-performance solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging aerospace programs, collaborate across integrated engineering teams, support prototype builds, and contribute to the development of advanced aircraft systems in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.   • 9+ years of experience with Bachelor's, 7+ years with Master's, or 4+ years with PhD
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures design and analysis
  • Experience with NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks or similar parametric CAD tools
  • Knowledge of GD&T and drawing standards (ASME
Y14.1, Y14.2, Y14.5, Y14.37, Y14.41
)
  • Experience designing with metallic and composite materials
  • Ability to create, review, and maintain engineering design packages
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Experience with Fibersim or Catia Composite workbench
  • Experience with NX Simcenter, Creo Simulate, Nastran, Abaqus, or similar FEA tools
