Position Purpose:
Assists with the planning, coordination, performance of design, analysis and liaison engineering supporting the development and production of Client products and services. Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Contribute to planning, developing and coordinating of important engineering projects Provide specialized technical assistance to team members Use advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems Determine and develop own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives Work under limited supervision; work should only be required to be reviewed for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives Act as liaison with representatives outside of assigned group/area
Additional Functions:
Actively work to improve daily processes and ensure all work meets customer requirements Maintain current knowledge of developments in field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
Education:
Bachelors Degree in engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions. Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred. Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters, 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job
Experience:
Five (5) years in specific technical discipline OR 10 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors
Required Skills:
Proficient in
CATIA V5
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline
Preferred Skills:
System experience (hydraulics, waste and water, or landing gear) Experience with 3D tubing routing, hydraulics schematics Experience with 3
D S/W:
NX Experience with TeamCenter Uniform Policy
Uniform Requirements:
Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).
Interim Attire:
Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.
