A vacancy for an Airframe Engineering RFE has arisen within Airbus AOSL Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join 1ATG2 department.

1ATG2 is responsible to support the

A320 & A330 HTP

production lines in Getafe and well as other buy components ( A320 S18 /BF/MLGD).

The job holder will be based in the Getafe Plant Engineering Team (PET), and close to the HTP production line. Tasks and accountabilities

Your main tasks and accountabilities will include:

Full delivery of concessions and non-conformities.

Proposal of new ideas for continuous improvement. Design and Analysis of repairs in composite and metal.

Plant support in different activities acting as a link between the design office and the plant team.

Feasibility studies, pre-designs, detail part designs and assemblies forecast in accordance with the rules of the design principles, manufacturing and maintenance and other Airbus requirements.

Challenge and propose new design principles in the frame of repairs and continuous support activities.

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

Educated to a degree level in engineering.

At least 3/5 years of experience in engineering.

Position requires design or stress skills to ensure quick transition to full portfolio of signatory rights.

Familiar with Airbus documentation processes and relevant tools (SAP, ISAMI, ...)

Capability to contribute to the product value chain with ideas and proposals.

Ability to work within timescales as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.

Ability to communicate technical subjects effectively and accurately to non-specialists.

Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Spanish will be a plus

Flexible and willing to embrace in the digital transformation. Through this approach you will be able to be an active part on the innovation process and contribute to the RFE success
