As we are committed to delivering high-quality, realistic simulations that help our clients train their personnel and improve their operations, we are looking for a simulation software engineer in the scope of the Hürjet Integrated Training System domain. The Spanish Air Force seeks to modernize its fleet by replacing the aging F-5M trainer aircraft to enhance pilot training and operational capabilities and create an Integrated Training System (ITS). Turkish Aerospace (TA) has developed the "HÜRJET", a single-engine, tandem-seat, supersonic advanced jet trainer, which has advanced capabilities and this aircraft has been selected to be the Spanish Combat trainer platform. The accountabilities of this position will be described below:- Developing the SW to be included in the Embedded Training Solution
- Supporting the development and operation of the Engineering Simulator
- Supporting the development and deployment of the GBTS
- Collaborate on feasibility studies The position includes the following tasks:
- Design and develop training simulators and Embedded SW components.
- Update existing simulation models representing aircraft equipment.
- Implement software models (C&43;&43;)
- Create and perform unit/system/acceptance tests of the software (C&43;&43; / Python, Jenkins)
- Perform integration testing
- SW Configuration Management.
- Develop tools for our test & simulation systems (e.g. Code / ICD Generators)
- Coordinate the development with our international partners and customers
- Write documents according to the existing company processes. Required Skills
- General Avionics knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in software design & testing.
- Experience in procedural and object orientated programming.
- Experience in unit, system testing and software integration.
- Experience writing documentation in English according to the SW life cycle processes.
- Knowledge of tools / technologies: DOORS Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C&43;&43; Familiarity with 3D graphics and multimedia technologies.
Linux:
advance level is mandatory. Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (Jenkins) would be beneficial 3rd generation of software version control Systems (Git) Communication Protocols & Frameworks (TCP/IP, RS422, 1553, ...)- Experience in the simulation domain (avionics, rehostings, visual systems) would be beneficial
