Job Description Responsibilities:
Lead manufacturing process development and continuous improvement efforts. Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production support equipment. Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program teams to solve production challenges. Support production personnel through technical guidance and process training. Develop process controls and implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies where appropriate. Identify and justify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and capital investments. Drive improvements focused on quality, cost reduction, throughput, and on-time delivery. Support qualification, testing, and production activities for complex engineered products. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment. Experience developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture solutions. Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical manufacturing principles. Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing documentation. Experience with MES systems and data-driven process improvement initiatives. Background in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred. Experience supporting cleanroom operations, qualification hardware, advanced testing, or high-reliability products is a plus. What's on
