Job Description Develop comprehensive test strategies, verification plans, and validation matrices for aerospace hardware. Create and maintain detailed test procedures, work instructions, and supporting documentation. Execute and oversee environmental, performance, vacuum, and research-based testing activities. Collect, analyze, and document test data to evaluate system performance and requirements compliance. Support root cause investigations and troubleshooting efforts for hardware and test systems. Assist with the setup, calibration, maintenance, and enhancement of test equipment and facilities. Generate technical reports, test summaries, nonconformance documentation, and quality records. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test methodologies and ensure reliable product verification. The Successful Applicant Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience in a test engineering, validation, or hardware verification role. Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, signal generators, thermocouples, and temperature sensors. Experience performing qualification, acceptance, or verification testing of hardware products. Knowledge of environmental test methods and industry-standard testing practices. Demonstrated experience developing technical procedures and test documentation. Familiarity with handling ESD-sensitive hardware and adhering to associated controls. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating and testing within high-vacuum environments, including ultra-high vacuum chambers. Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries. Experience conducting environmental testing such as vibration, shock, thermal cycling, humidity, and radiation exposure. Familiarity with military, aerospace, or other rigorous product qualification standards. Experience working with high-voltage equipment up to 5 kV. Knowledge of automated test systems, instrumentation control, and data acquisition platforms.
