About This Role In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter. Participating in development of new products across all phases of the hardware design lifecycle from concept development to test and evaluation. Supporting hands-on ground and flight test events through test planning, test execution, and data reduction in a dynamic environment. Working with multidisciplinary systems and accomplishing tasks that cover a wide range of design activities on unmanned air vehicles. Conducting in-depth performance, stability and control, and aerodynamic analysis. Use, update, and write aircraft performance simulation and predictive tools. Qualifications Qualifications Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering or related field . Experience in using, updating, and writing code in MATLAB or related software language. Understanding and willingness to apply Aerospace Engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Effective written and oral presentation skills. Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
