Responsibilities Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Embraer 190 aircraft in accordance with FAA standards and manufacturer guidelines. Lead engineering development testing, structural analysis, fluid dynamics assessments, and root cause analysis to resolve technical problems efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, requirements analysis, project scheduling, and engineering data analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Valid FAA Aircraft Maintenance License (A&P) with Embraer 190 type rating or equivalent certification. Extensive experience in aerospace engineering with knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures specific to regional jets or similar aircraft types. Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with 3D modeling for product design is highly desirable. Strong understanding of aerospace design principles including aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, structural analysis, and mechanical engineering fundamentals. Knowledge of FAA regulations governing aircraft maintenance; familiarity with military or DoD standards is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform engineering analysis skills such as root cause analysis and system troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; leadership experience in team settings is preferred.
