Job Description

Responsible for planning and conducting vibration tests to evaluate aircraft system compatibility and performance. Duties include defining instrumentation requirements, coordinating test activities, analyzing data, and communicating results. Work may occur in offices, labs, and aircraft hangars, and may involve participation in flight tests. Up to 25% travel is required, primarily domestic with occasional international trips. This role may lead to FAA ODA Unit Member qualification. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute vibration test programs Coordinate instrumentation, test setup, and logistics Analyze test data and prepare technical reports Collaborate with engineers, customers, and external partners Required Education / Experience BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering Technology A&P certificate required for Aerospace Engineering Technology degrees 5+ years of engineering experience Preferred Flight test experience Pilot experience or knowledge of General Aviation aircraft Experience with electronic test or instrumentation equipment
