Job Description

Position Purpose Provide technical support conducting investigations on known Quality issues under the oversight of a QAE II, for our client, a leading business aviation aircraft manufacturer. Determine root cause and corrective action for Quality issues using 8D methodology, validated by the audit group. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and promote strong working relationships with local regulatory authorities, delivering a safe, conforming, quality product to our client's customers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ensure Quality issue investigations are conducted per department procedures and work instructions Identify and complete process improvement projects to raise quality or efficiency of Quality processes Maintain a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction Collaborate across departments and disciplines Develop and maintain a FOD-free environment Execute company policies and procedures; develop new procedures as required Promote and encourage a continuous improvement culture Support Quality leadership's operating priorities Experience and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Sciences, Quality Systems, or related technical field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Entry level Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License may substitute for the degree when combined with 4 years of related experience ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or FAA-recognized airworthiness designee experience highly preferred Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma processes Ability to learn manufacturing processes (Assembly, Machining, Special Process, Inspection, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills Aerospace industry experience highly preferred Must read, write, speak, and understand
English Pay:
$30.00 - $37.00 per hour
