  • Who will you be working with?
  • Our best-in-class Electric Rotating Machines Engineering team develops a wide variety of products for rail, off-highway and drill applications. In this role, the Technical Leader will work with a cross-functional teams to design and develop electric machines, as well as maintaining and expanding on the existing products.
  • How will you make a difference?
  • As the Engineering Technical Leader, you will be responsible for design, testing, application studies, field support, manufacturing support, and innovation on a variety of machine topologies.
You will support various business critical initiatives that include hybrid and battery electric vehicles. You will be responsible for motors, fans, blowers and/or alternator mechanical design and work with cross functional teams to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for giving technical leadership on major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

  • + Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field + Minimum of 8 years of experience with hardware design (i.
e., motors, turbo, fans, etc.) + Understanding of electric rotating machines + Experience with finite element analysis (FEA), bolted joint, stress analysis + Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly + Ability and willingness to travel as required (
