This role is ideal for an engineering professional who enjoys applying aerospace and mechanical engineering knowledge, working with advanced design and PLM tools, and helping technical users build confidence with CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE workflows. In this position, you will support customer-facing enablement through technical training, demonstrations, hands-on guidance, and practical engineering examples. You will help bridge the gap between complex aerospace engineering concepts, software functionality, and real-world user success. What You Will Do Deliver clear and engaging CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE training to engineering and technical audiences in classroom, on-site, and virtual settings. Use aerospace and mechanical engineering knowledge to explain design, product development, and PLM concepts in a practical and easy-to-understand way. Lead live software demonstrations, guided exercises, and hands-on labs that help learners apply tools to real-world engineering workflows. Adapt training content and delivery style based on audience experience level, customer needs, and learning objectives. Provide constructive feedback and support to learners as they build proficiency with CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related PLM processes. Collaborate with internal mentors, subject matter experts, and the Enablement Team to improve training quality and consistency. Stay current on software updates, aerospace/engineering practices, PLM trends, and training delivery methods. Support occasional worldwide training assignments as business needs require. Required Qualifications Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree preferred. 3-5 years of hands-on experience using
CATIA V5.
At least 1 year of experience working with a PLM platform; 3DEXPERIENCE experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience training, mentoring, teaching, presenting, or supporting technical users is preferred. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally. Strong technical writing skills and attention to accuracy, grammar, and clarity. Positive, self-motivated approach with enthusiasm for learning, coaching, and continuous improvement. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a structured team environment. Flexibility to support on-site training in Charleston, SC and occasional worldwide travel. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
