You will report to the Sr Software Engr Manager, and work out of our Deer Valley site in Phoenix, AZ on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the design, development, systems integration and verification of the Aircraft Data Network. Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems operating within the Data Network Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of Avionics software solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in the Avionics space Honeywell's Aerospace Anthem Integrated Flight Deck is the industry's 1st Cloud-Connected "always-on" Integrated Cockpit system, featuring cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a flexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of aircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general aviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles. YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics. Minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting. Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.
WE VALUE
Experience with avionics systems, integrated flight decks, or complex embedded systems in an AS6802, AFDX or similar Data Network Experience in complex system integration projects Experience with software development Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Passion for innovation and continuous learning. Experience with regulatory and certification compliance (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754)
