Preference is Phoenix, AZ (Open to St. Pete or Grand Rapids, MI) Open to remote for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural definition and design of future avionics surveillance and collision avoidance technologies such asTCAS , ACAS , ADS -B
capabilities and products. Define system requirements and develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Collaborate with the FAA and other certification authorities to define new specifications and regulatory requirements for these technologies. Ensure regulatory compliance with standards such as ARP 4754 and DO-178. Architect and integrate transponder/ ADS -B systems, considering both ADS -B In and ACAS technologies. Develop new applications utilizingACAS , ADS -B
technologies for both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles. Work directly with OEMs and customers to understand needs, gather requirements, and integrate solutions.
