Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop aircraft, missiles, and related parts.
- Establish structural specifications and ensure compliance with flight physics.
- Perform structural dynamics analysis.
- Conduct and evaluate test programs.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. ## Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering- Experience with vibroacoustic and data processing
- Proficient in scripting language (MatLab, Python, VBA, C++, etc.)
- Experience working on a team as a technical subject matter expert or near expert. ## Desired Skills
- Experience with running and interpreting ADAMS multibody dynamics models
- Experience with running and interpreting ABAQUS-equivalents to Modal Analysis (SOL103), Random Vibration (SOL111), Transient Analysis (SOL112), Non-linear analysis (SOL106/400)
- Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment
- Experience making/updating Finite Element Models (FEM) in
ABAQUS/CAE
(useful to know Patran, Hypermesh, FEMAP, or similar- Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
