Job Description

Anez Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineering Consultant to lead engineering projects serving livestock producers and agricultural businesses throughout the Midwest. This position is primarily based in our office , providing opportunities for collaboration with our multidisciplinary consulting team, while also offering flexibility for partial remote work based on project needs and experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, building trusted client relationships, and helping producers navigate today's environmental and regulatory landscape. Responsibilities Lead engineering design for livestock facilities, manure storage systems, and agricultural infrastructure. Prepare and review engineering plans, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Serve as Engineer of Record for qualifying projects. Manage projects from concept through permitting and construction. Coordinate with producers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Collaborate with consulting team and other engineering staff at Anez Prepare and oversee environmental permit applications and engineering documentation. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Support business development and long-term client relationships. Desired Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering. Experience with agricultural engineering, livestock facility design, and site development. Working knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
Experience working with agencies including:
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Excellent project management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary consulting team. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
