Fargo, ND Job Details Full-time $70 - $90 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Energy control procedures Project leadership Project risk management Construction stakeholder coordination Full Job Description Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation, is searching for an Energy Marshal to join our Fargo, ND based team. This is an awesome opportunity to get into a very fast paced environment, the cutting edge of technology and be on the front lines of AI. This person will oversee energy management, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards in this state-of-the-art data center facility. The Energy Marshall is responsible for planning, implementing, and governing site-wide energy control programs to ensure all energized and de-energized work is performed safely and in compliance with project, corporate, and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with construction, commissioning, operations, and contractor teams to facilitate safe system startup, testing, and turnover while minimizing risk to personnel and equipment. Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce safe execution of energized work and isolation activities. Develop and maintain the Energy Control Execution Plan aligned with project schedules and commissioning activities. Manage and govern the site-wide Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program. Oversee all energization, de-energization, and isolation activities. Administer energy-related permit-to-work processes and ensure proper authorization controls. Conduct field audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. Coordinate with commissioning, construction, contractors, and operations teams to support project execution. Provide training on energy isolation procedures, LOTO requirements, and safety standards. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of permits, isolation plans, audits, and LOTO activities. Qualifications Experience managing energy isolation, LOTO, energization, and commissioning activities in industrial, mission-critical, or construction environments. Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, energy control systems, and permit-to-work processes. Ability to interpret and implement safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership skills with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and contractors. Strong communication, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work in high-risk environments while maintaining a strong safety culture. What's in it for you?
