Spartanburg, SC The Assistant Director of Energy Management, reporting to the Facilities Management Director, oversees all university energy programs and building operations to include campus facilities maintenance, distribution systems, energy production plants, and all system-wide energy-consuming assets. Is responsible for planning, development, implementation, and management energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives; Management of operational budgets, analyze energy consumption data, and review utility billing for accuracy; Ensures full alignment with all applicable energy codes, regulatory policies, institutional guidelines, and industry best practices; Provides leadership and daily supervision for the delivery Building and Operational Services functions and execution of routine maintenance, preventative maintenance schedules, and facility repairs across carpentry, plumbing, painting, mechanical, and electrical systems within Facilities Management Department.Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:
