Onsite - onsite Responsibilities

+ Administer the company's employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.

+ Process new-hire enrollments, benefit changes, terminations, and qualifying life events accurately and within required deadlines.

+ Monitor employee benefit eligibility and enrollment deadlines and follow up with employees as necessary.

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, enrollment, deductions, and general benefit questions.

+ Assist employees with navigating benefit plans, carrier websites, enrollment systems, and available resources.

+ Coordinate with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve enrollment, eligibility, coverage, and benefit-related issues.

+ Maintain accurate benefit elections, eligibility information, and employee records within the HRIS and carrier systems.

+ Audit benefit enrollments and deductions to ensure information is accurate across HRIS, payroll, and carrier systems.

+ Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve billing, enrollment, and premium discrepancies.

+ Partner with Payroll to ensure employee benefit deductions, employer contributions, and necessary adjustments are processed accurately.

+ Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process, including communications, enrollment materials, employee education, system updates, and enrollment tracking.

+ Prepare and distribute benefit communications, enrollment reminders, plan information, and educational materials to employees.

+ Present benefit information during new-hire orientation and explain available plans, eligibility requirements, costs, and enrollment deadlines.

+ Coordinate and track employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other applicable leaves.

+ Maintain leave documentation and track eligibility, certifications, deadlines, benefit continuation, and return-to-work information.

+ Coordinate COBRA qualifying events and ensure required information is submitted to the appropriate administrator within established deadlines.

+ Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable benefit and leave requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and FMLA.

+ Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential employee benefit and leave records and assist with required reporting and audits.

+ Generate benefit reports, conduct routine data audits, and assist with HRIS benefit configuration, testing, updates, and system improvements.

+ Provide professional and confidential employee support while identifying opportunities to improve benefit administration, communication, and the overall employee experience; perform additional HR duties as assigned. Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required. + 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, benefits administration, payroll, or a related administrative role preferred.

+ Previous experience administering employee benefits strongly preferred.

+ Experience working with an HRIS/payroll system preferred; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

+ Experience working with benefit carriers, brokers, or third-party administrators is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to explain benefit information clearly to employees at varying levels of the organization.

+ Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

+ Working knowledge of employee benefit and leave administration practices.

+ General understanding of COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, FMLA, and related employment regulations.

+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

+ Ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS, payroll, benefit carrier, and vendor systems.

+ Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and follow matters through resolution.

+ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader HR and Payroll teams.
