Beacon Health System is seeking a Biomedical Imaging Engineer to support the maintenance, repair, testing, and performance of radiology, diagnostic imaging, and biomedical equipment. Qualified Biomedical/BMET professionals may have the opportunity to train and develop skills in Diagnostic Imaging and X-ray equipment and service protocols, based on experience, qualifications, and department needs. Strong Biomedical experience but limited Imaging experience? We encourage you to apply. What You'll Do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on radiology, imaging, and biomedical equipment. Troubleshoot, inspect, test, adjust, and repair complex electrical, electronic, biomedical, and mechanical systems. Perform maintenance within Diagnostic Imaging and Therapy based on training and qualifications. Use specialized test equipment to ensure equipment safety and performance. Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with manufacturers and vendors as needed. Maintain repair, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance documentation. Support imaging equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and evaluations. Serve as a technical resource for Radiologists, Imaging Technologists, clinical teams, and leadership. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent technical training, including relevant military electronics/radar training. 3-5 years of experience installing, repairing, or maintaining radiology or biomedical equipment. Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry, electrical systems, and mechanical systems. Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and computer skills. Why Join Beacon?
