Main Responsibilities:
Conduct guided technology research to identify emerging trends, tools, and solutions relevant to patient care and clinical programs. Gather and analyze patient and clinical program requirements to identify unmet needs and areas for improvement. Identify and evaluate potential innovation opportunities that align with organizational goals and patient outcomes. Organize, participate in, and actively contribute to innovation projects, collaborating cross-functionally to bring new ideas to life.
About You Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences or a related engineering field. Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or
STEM OPT
usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in medical device or drug delivery device development Capstone project or research experience related to device engineering or biomedical applications Experience with multiple device types or routes of administration Strong communication and collaboration skills with external partners and vendors Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Compensation The salary range for this position is $29.00-$57.00 hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. #LI-Onsite #vhd
