- Job Description
- This scientist has a proven track record of cellular and molecular proteomics, analytical chemistry and/or biochemistry to play a key supporting role in the MS-based proteomics group in the Exploratory Biomarkers team.
- Qualifications
- Required Education, Experience, Skills and Certifications
- + MS and 3+ years or equivalent, BS with 5+ years relevant lab experience in biochemistry, proteomics, analytical chemistry, or related field in academic, pharma or biotech industry, or PhD with 0-1 years postgraduate experience + Hands-on experience with proteomics, minimum 1 year of hands-on lab experience + Quick to learn new systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement + Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail + Able to conduct experiments and analyze data independently + Strong time management skills + Good team player + Skilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships + Able to help maintain various lab instruments + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) + Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship •Preferred Education, Experience, Skills and Certifications•+ Experience using an electronic lab notebook + Cell Culture experience + Experience communicating results in small group meetings and/or in reports + Sample preparation of limited tissue samples with Ultrasensitive proteomics + Hands-on targeted proteomic approaches + Hands-on co-immunoprecipitations, affinity-based protein profiling, chemoproteomics + Analysis of proteomic data sets, coding experience in R or Python •Additional Information•The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with overtime as needed.
Compensation:
