Job Description

Assists in the design and development of biomedical-related engineering systems, including patient-matched guides and models, utilizing knowledge of tools, design techniques, and underlying theory relevant to their discipline. Collaborates closely with surgeons, project team members, and other stakeholders to support the development of high-quality, patient-specific solutions. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; regularly summarizes and communicates the results of work efforts to team members, customers, and management in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Thrives in a fast-paced, team-based work environment that requires strong attention to detail, effective collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with quick deadlines. Takes initiative, works independently when needed, and remains proactive in identifying needs, solving problems, and moving work forward. Understands relevant components of the Division's quality management system and participates in safety risk management activities. Maintains a strong client/customer focus, recognizing that effective communication, responsiveness, collaboration, and professionalism are essential to success in this role. Bachelor's in engineering or related field. Master's preferred.
