Job Description

Job Title:
Summer 2027 Intern -
Healthcare Marketing Summary:
As a healthcare marketing intern, you will work with Momentive's global healthcare sales, marketing and technology team to determine strategic growth areas for our silicone materials including elastomers, gels, adhesives and fluids. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to learn how technical skills are used in a marketing position. Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, will be well-positioned to excel in this role.
Responsibilities Include:
Research silicone focused healthcare market growth trends and competitive products Work with Product Management to understand Momentive's current and future manufacturing capability on strategic healthcare products Work with healthcare marketing, sales and product management team to understand Momentive's strengths and weaknesses in certain healthcare subsegments. Create SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), analysis on key strategies and present to commercial team. Conduct technical application development work on key materials such as silicone Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) coating for skin (PSA adhesion testing and test method gauge R&R studies)
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and TEAMS computer applications Good organization and presentation skills are required to communicate findings to healthcare team. Ability to work independently, under supervision and as part of a team. Medical Device experience is preferred but not required.
Program Qualifications:
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August. Base Pay Range:
$22.00 - $26.00 The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
