ARS is expanding and looking to grow its design team to assist in the drafting of drawings for custom commercial kitchen stainless items including counters, tables, shelves, cabinets, and more.
Position Summary:
The CAD Operator/Drafter is responsible for the utilization of AutoCad software to produce commercial kitchen drawings, custom stainless drawings, and utility rough-in drawings from architectural drawings and specifications.
Essential Functions:
Use architectural drawings to develop utility rough-ins for commercial kitchens. Maintain drawings, support products data, and cost spreadsheets utilizing AutoQuotes software. Work closely with Project Management, Project Coordination, and Design departments to deliver drawings on a timely basis. Develop drawings for custom stainless items including counters, tables, shelves, cabinets, and more. Utilize AutoCAD in day-to-day work. Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
Ability to read architectural drawings. Knowledge of utility rough-ins. Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working in AutoCAD and Revit. Ability to learn new programs as needed. Proficiency in written and verbal communication Knowledge of foodservice and commercial kitchens a plus.
Position type/expected work hours:
This is an non-exempt, hourly position. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM. This position offers eligibility for health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental insurance and 401(k) matching along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
