Job Description

Be a CAD Drafter at ICC ICC, a leading wholesale manufacturer for the telecommunications industry since 1986, is searching for a full-time CAD Drafter with a mechanical engineering degree to join our Product Management team! In this role, you'll bring product ideas to life through 3D modeling and AI-assisted CAD tools, while helping connect our data to power smarter, AI-driven product decisions. 3

D Product Development:

Create 3D models and drawings from design concept to detailed specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar); use of AI-assisted design tools is encouraged.

Engineering Change Orders:

Create and manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.

Manufacturing Coordination:

Coordinate with the factory on manufacturing issues and design changes.

Drawing Review:

Interpret engineering sketches, redlines, and specifications to accurately update drawings, ensuring adherence to drafting standards.

Data Connections & File Management:

Establish and maintain data connections, such as SQL databases, to support AI-driven product and business analysis, and compile, organize, and manage CAD files across all projects.

Job Requirements Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or a related engineering field, or currently completing one.

CAD Proficiency:

Proficiency in at least one

CAD / 3D

modeling software package (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar); use of AI-assisted CAD tools is acceptable. Attention to

Detail:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to interpret engineering sketches and markups.

Teamwork:

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Experience:

Prior CAD drafting and SQL data analysis experience is a plus.

Pay:

$24.00 per hour
