POSITION SUMMARY
Join our growing team at Pacific Outdoor Living, based in Sun Valley as a Residential Landscape and/or Structural CAD Drafter. The purpose of this role is to create quality design presentation packages based on our landscape and architectural designers' vision. This position plays a crucial role in our experienced Design/Build Company, which continues to expand its scope of work.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate construction drawings and presentation plans for residential landscape and outdoor living projects. Produce detailed sections, elevations, and construction details in accordance with company standards. Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and estimators to revise and finalize plans efficiently. Maintain drawing accuracy and organization throughout all phases of project development. Assist in developing and maintaining the company CAD detail library to improve drafting efficiency and consistency. Learn and apply company construction methods, materials, and product specifications. Ensure plans comply with applicable construction standards and project requirements.
CAPABILITIES / KEY COMPETENCIES
2+ years of professional AutoCAD drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to work quickly and accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and construction plans. Construction, landscape, or residential design experience is a plus. Knowledge of local building codes is a plus. CAD portfolio required. Completed project examples are a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Successful applicants will be required to participate in pre-employment aptitude assessments designed to evaluate their ability to perform the responsibilities of the role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods. Must be able to move throughout the office to collaborate with team members as needed.
