In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive technical drawings and models using a variety of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. Your expertise will support engineering, construction, and design projects by translating concepts into detailed schematics and 3D models. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects that require meticulous drafting, creative problem-solving, and a strong understanding of mechanical and architectural design principles. Your energetic approach will help drive project success from initial concept through detailed documentation. Duties Develop detailed 2D schematics and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MicroStation, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and produce accurate CAD documentation. Create building information modeling (BIM) models to facilitate integrated project workflows across disciplines. Prepare detailed mechanical drafting and CAD detailing for mechanical design projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Generate schematics, technical drawings, and construction documentation that clearly communicate design intent. Assist in the development of construction sequences and visualization through 2D animation or 3D modeling techniques. Maintain organized CAD files, update existing drawings, and ensure all documentation complies with project specifications and quality standards. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of mechanical drafting principles and engineering CAD design practices. Experience with building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery. Ability to produce detailed schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes. Familiarity with construction processes and experience working on infrastructure or building projects is a plus. Skilled in 2D animation for project visualization or client presentations is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical specifications accurately.
