Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter II to join a leading custom door and window manufacturer located in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background and experience developing professional drawings for both clients and manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will work in a high-production manufacturing environment, creating accurate drawings while collaborating with project coordinators, designers, and production personnel. The candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines are essential. Job Description Create, modify, and update drawings using AutoCAD throughout all phases of a project. Collaborate with project coordinators and the design team to develop accurate project drawings. Prepare submittal packages including product information, detailed drawings, and elevation drawings. Maintain, organize, and update the CAD drawing library for ongoing and completed projects. Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet project and manufacturing requirements. Requirements & Qualifications Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 or newer. Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience. Experience with architectural and/or mechanical drafting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Comfortable collaborating with design, project coordination, and manufacturing teams. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel. Strong understanding of mathematics, algebra, and geometry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including email, phone, and other communication platforms. Doors and window industry experience is a plus. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required. Education & Experience 2+ years of AutoCAD experience. 2+ years of construction experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
