This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong CAD, drafting, engineering, architecture, or construction background who enjoys solving technical problems and wants to build a career in custom cabinetry. You'll work directly with our lead engineer, learning the engineering process from the ground up while contributing to high-end residential and commercial projects. No Cabinet Vision experience is required—we're willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Learn and create cabinet models and shop drawings using Cabinet Vision Assist in generating cut lists, material lists, and shop work orders Review architectural drawings and project specifications Complete drawing revisions and redlines with accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate with project managers and production to resolve design questions Maintain organized project files and engineering documentation Gradually take ownership of engineering packages as experience and proficiency increase Preferred Qualifications Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar) Degree or coursework in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work Organized, dependable, and eager to learn Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Compensation & Benefits $26-30 per hour , depending on experience Full-time position (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Direct mentorship and hands-on training from an experienced engineer Clear opportunity for advancement into an independent Cabinet Engineer role Supportive, small-team environment where your work directly impacts production Stable, family-owned company focused on craftsmanship, quality, and long-term relationships
