Job Description

ELECTRICAL CAD DRAFTER / REVIT DESIGNER
Platinum Finishing Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Drafter/Revit Designer to create accurate electrical plans and other technical drawings for industrial paint booths, finishing systems, and related equipment.

Responsibilities:
Create electrical plans and permit-ready drawing sets Prepare electrical layouts, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and equipment connection details Produce additional mechanical, architectural, and fabrication drawings as needed Develop and revise drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Update plans from field measurements, redlines, engineering notes, and project changes Coordinate with engineers, project managers, fabrication teams, installers, and permitting agencies Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements Organize drawing files and maintain current project revisions
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Experience preparing electrical construction or permit drawings Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and technical documents Understanding of electrical symbols, circuits, equipment connections, and panel schedules Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing, paint booths, control systems, or hazardous locations is a plus Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and California electrical requirements is preferred We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with both office and field teams. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
