CAD Designer Titan Vans Boulder, CO Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee assistance program 401(k) matching Qualifications Mechanical design Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description Job Summary The CAD Designer produces and maintains CAD designs, nests components, prepares technical and manufacturing documentation, programs limited CAM, and supports prototyping and testing. We seek candidates with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic to join our growing team. Responsibilities Produce CAD ready for machine programming (wood and metal) Produce CAD packages for external manufacturing (metal, sheet metal, plastic) Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external production Support testing of new products to develop high quality instructions and packing lists Maintain an organized task manager and Fusion workspace Perform limited CAM programming for production and rapid prototyping Operate 3D printing on a limited basis for production and prototyping Assist with external manufacturing communication and prototyping Collaborate with a small team, follow supervisor direction, and uphold quality standards Follow health and safety best practices with a reliable work ethic Operate a forklift to assist manufacturing and warehouse operations Qualifications Experience with Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD software Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T Experience programming CNC machines and familiarity with G-code Ability to troubleshoot design and prototyping issues Strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast paced, rigorous team environment
