This individual reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications, standards, and client needs. Collaboration with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs would be a necessary function of this position. + Essential Job Functions Experienced computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop designs. Creates and revises production (detail and assembly) drawings. Makes final sketch or proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole project. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and building materials to complete drawings and submittal packages. Draws finished designs from sketches. Converts existing production drawings to CAD. Communicates with manufacturing regarding new and revised prints. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary based on the needs of the business. + Education and Experience Experience with CAD or drafting programs such as Cabinet Vision, AlphaCam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Micro Valem, 20/20 Design experience Computer programing experience Proficient Computer skills - Win 10, Office suites including Exchange, Excel, and Word. Ability to work in a team environment Attention to detail Appreciation for quality + Compensation and Benefits Hourly/Non-Exempt Position $25-$30 per hour depending upon experience. Position comes with health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as short term disability insurance. Time off that begins accruing immediately. + Workplace Policies and Agreements FSLA Status - Hourly/Non-Exempt Current Driver's License is required. UA/7 Year Background Check is required upon acceptance. Schedule - M-F Work Location -
