Position Overview:

As a CAD Drafter , you will play a critical role in creating accurate and detailed drawings that support our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, SUE Techs, and project managers to develop and update utility profiles, ensuring that underground utilities are accurately represented in the project designs. SUE is a process used to identify and map underground utilities to avoid conflicts during construction. Your role will be essential in ensuring safety, accuracy, and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for SUE profiles, including accurate depiction of underground utilities. Collaborate with engineers and SUE teams to integrate survey data into CAD drawings. Interpret utility data, plans, and specifications to create utility conflict resolution plans. Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Assist in maintaining and organizing project files, both electronically and physically. Update drawings and profiles as new data or changes are made throughout the project lifecycle.
