The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating detailed drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to produce high-quality designs that meet project specifications. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in the design process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Duties Draft and prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD. Create shop drawings and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications. Collaborate with other departments to understand design requirements. Modify existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers. Maintain organized files of all drafts and revisions for easy access by team members. Requirements Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD. Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices. Experience in creating schematics and technical drawings. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and modifications.
