Job Description
Job Overview We are a leading flight training academy dedicated to preparing the next generation of professional and recreational pilots. We are committed to providing high-quality flight instruction in a welcoming, supportive, and safety-focused environment. We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-service-driven Front Desk Agent to be the face of our school and support our daily operations in our new location in Oxford, CT. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and assist students, instructors, and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner Schedule flight lessons and simulator sessions using our scheduling system (e.g., Flight Schedule Pro or similar) Process student sign-ins/sign-outs and maintain up-to-date training records Handle payments and track account balances for students Assist with inventory of training materials, pilot supplies, and office supplies Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Communicate clearly with instructors and the operations team regarding schedule changes and student needs Provide general administrative support to management as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred (aviation background is a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with attention to detail Comfortable using scheduling software, email, and office technology (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.) Flight Schedule Pro a plus Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and a team player Willingness to learn about aviation and flight school operations If you are passionate about providing excellent service and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Front Desk Agent.
