Job Description

Overview We are a small Architectural Firm seeking an experienced Architectural CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D designs and models using industry-standard software. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of innovative and efficient designs. Duties The CAD Technician will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and updating design files and databases using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
  • Building 2D and 3D models and assemblies using CAD software.
  • Creating and editing schematics and drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborating with other team members to resolve design issues and improve design efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with CAD software and designs. Skills
  • Preferred (5) or more years of experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Architectural design and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and engineering practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with building and drafting schematics and drawings.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
  • Associates degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or architecture.
