Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Drafter (Microvellum) Alta Woodwork is seeking an experienced drafter to develop detailed shop drawings and production documentation for custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. This position works closely with our project and production teams to turn architectural plans and specifications into accurate, buildable projects. Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, and field measurements. Create and revise detailed shop drawings using Microvellum. Develop construction details and specify materials and hardware. Prepare material takeoffs, cut lists, and CNC-ready files for review. Identify missing information or conflicts before drawings are released to production. Coordinate drawing revisions with the project, purchasing, and shop teams. Keep project drawings and revisions organized and up to date. Qualifications Experience drafting custom cabinetry or architectural millwork. Proficiency with Microvellum. Ability to read architectural plans and understand cabinet construction, materials, and hardware. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience with commercial millwork, AutoCAD, and production standards is a plus.
