Overview Join our dynamic team as a CAD Designer and unleash your creativity and technical expertise to shape innovative building and system designs. In this role, you will utilize advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to develop detailed schematics, 3D and 2D models, and construction documentation that bring architectural visions to life. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate designers eager to collaborate on diverse projects across architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. Responsibilities Create precise 2D drawings and detailed construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Develop comprehensive 3D models with tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms to visualize design concepts effectively. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design schematics into accurate technical drawings and system layouts. Conduct building code analysis to ensure designs comply with local regulations and standards. Prepare construction detail documentation that clearly communicates specifications for fabrication and assembly processes. Assist in system design projects including mechanical systems or interior layouts using specialized CAD tools. Support project teams by reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent platforms. Strong skills in 3D CAD modeling Knowledge of construction detail documentation and construction process workflows. Experience in interior design, mechanical design, or engineering CAD drafting is highly desirable. Ability to interpret architectural schematics and translate them into precise technical drawings. Excellent graphic design skills with an eye for detail and clarity in visual communication. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
