CAD/CAM Technician

Please note that this is a CAD/CAM programmer position in a job shop environment. This candidate will be responsible for all CAD/CAM design for manufacturing and must have extensive experience in laser cutting, rolling and bend allowances for precision sheet metal forming using a press brake. Successful completion of written and practical skills assessment is required to receive a job offer.

JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

• Substantial experience (2+ years) in 2D CAD design, Precision Custom Metal Fabrication with tolerances as close as .010".
• Knowledge and practice in figuring laser/shear blank sizes using specified bend allowances.
• Ability to read blueprints fluently.
• Extensive familiarity in sheet metal layout and forming with press brake.
• Experience in laser/plasma cutting.
• Ability to identify Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
• Experience in manual milling/turning.
• Experience in MIG/TIG welding.

Compensation based on skills and experience. Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime on Friday.. Please include contact information and current copy of resume.
