Job Description
OverviewRobert Half is seeking a CAD Technician for a short-term contract opportunity with our client in Macon, GA. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering or design career who has experience working with CAD software and enjoys creating technical drawings and documentation.
The primary focus of this position will be converting existing parts and components into accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for engineering documentation purposes.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain 3D CAD models for parts and components.
Generate detailed print drawings and supporting documentation from existing parts.
Interpret engineering drawings, prints, and dimensional information.
Accurately document component measurements and specifications.
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
Organize and maintain CAD files and technical documentation.
Support ongoing documentation as needed.
