Key Responsibilities:

Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for medical imaging equipment components and systems. Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into comprehensive technical drawings. Ensure the accuracy and precision of drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and adherence to industry standards and regulations. Maintain organized and up-to-date design documentation, including revisions and version control. Work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines, contributing to the timely completion of engineering projects. Provide clear and effective communication of design intent through drawings, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams. Stay informed about industry trends, software updates, and new technologies relevant to drafting and design. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices. Adhere to quality standards and regulations applicable to medical equipment manufacturing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Proven experience as a draftsperson in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a focus on medical equipment being a plus. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to medical equipment design. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. Continuous learning mindset with a willingness to engage in professional development opportunities.
